How to use mechanical products in environments with high humidity?

1. Control humidity
Ideal humidity range: Mechanical products generally require a relative humidity between 40% and 70%. High precision equipment requires a relative humidity between 40% and 55%, and humidity fluctuations should be less than 5%.
Dehumidification measures: In high humidity environments, dehumidifiers or air conditioners should be installed to control humidity. For fixed machinery such as mixing plants, crushers, etc., rain shelters should be erected.
2. Daily maintenance
Dehumidification maintenance: In high humidity environments, mechanical dehumidification maintenance should be carried out in a timely manner to prevent rainwater and chemical components in the air from entering the interior of the equipment. After each shift, maintenance work such as wiping, fastening, and lubrication should be carried out.
Wiping method: When wiping, a brush or clean, moisture free gas should be used for blowing, and wet cloths should be avoided.
Regular start-up: Machinery that is temporarily shut down should be regularly started for testing, and electrical components should be powered on for dehumidification.
3. Inspection and maintenance
Cooling system: Regularly check the working condition of the cooling system to ensure sufficient coolant and unobstructed radiator vents.
Hydraulic system: Check whether the hydraulic system pipelines and radiators are leaking, whether the hydraulic oil is clean, and regularly replace contaminated hydraulic oil.
Electrical system: Regularly check whether the wiring terminals of the electrical system are loose, whether the contacts are oxidized or burned, and keep the battery vent unobstructed.
Other components: Check whether the rotating parts such as the transmission box and shaft pins are flexible, whether there are cracks in the steel structure components, and promptly repair aging and cracked parts.
4. Special protection
Rain proof facilities: For machinery used in outdoor operations, such as electric slag collectors, rain covers should be installed, but plastic wrap should be avoided to prevent affecting heat dissipation.
Mandatory maintenance: Mandatory maintenance shall be carried out according to the specified actual operating time interval, and components that must be replaced after reaching the maintenance cycle shall be replaced by mandatory replacement.
Oil maintenance: Select appropriate oil according to the requirements of the mechanical use and maintenance manual, and perform maintenance at regular intervals.
5. Environmental management
Ventilation: The storage area should maintain good ventilation with no less than 3 air changes per hour to reduce the concentration of harmful gases.
Temperature control: The storage environment temperature should be maintained between 5 ℃ and 35 ℃ to avoid damage to mechanical products caused by excessively high or low temperatures.
